Inflection is a B2B marketing automation platform, from Inflection, Inc., that sends email journeys to both prospects and existing customers and lets AI agents help build the audiences, emails and campaigns. Its homepage calls it "The B2B Marketing Platform For Humans & Agents" and "marketing automation built for 2036. Full context. Full lifecycle. AI agents and humans executing together. From ideas to outcomes in minutes, not weeks." It is aimed at technology and SaaS companies that sell to other businesses and want their product, CRM and data warehouse data driving their email programs. The company sells it as a full replacement for legacy marketing automation platforms (MAPs), "not a lightweight point solution."

One platform for prospects and customers

Inflection's central claim is that it is "the only marketing automation solution natively built to handle both prospect and customer funnels." The company suggests you "Consolidate your marketing automation and customer communication platforms into Inflection to save money and deliver a better experience." Its argument is that a MAP built only for prospects misses what happens after a deal closes: "Customers keep talking after deals close, in reviews, in Reddit, in conversations that shape how the next buyer sees you. Inflection runs the full marketing lifecycle, so that voice feeds demand."

For an email sender this means onboarding, adoption, expansion and reactivation emails to customers run in the same system as demand generation emails to prospects. The FAQ describes the audience as companies that "run lifecycle, demand, or expansion programs at scale."

What a sender gets

Journeys. Automation is organized around journeys rather than "yesterday's rule-only workflows." Contacts enter Inflection Journeys and receive campaigns according to where they sit in the lifecycle. The company says it wants marketers to "focus on strategy and creativity, instead of activities, systems, and rule-based workflows," and contrasts a campaign that takes weeks to launch with one that is ready "in minutes."

Data from the warehouse, CRM and product. Inflection is "built to leverage data warehouses and product signals alongside CRM data." Its integrations with data warehouses let you "drive smart marketing campaigns that drive pipeline, engagement, and revenue", and the company says it is "Easy to connect to CDPs and data warehouses" and "Supports very large Salesforce instances with no delays." Audiences can therefore draw on product usage and warehouse data as well as on CRM fields.

AI agents. The platform is "AI-native with a suite of pre-built agents and full MCP support." According to the FAQ, the AI layer "enables agents to work on behalf of humans, such as building audiences, emails, and campaigns." The homepage says the agents are "built on all your data", with "First-party context across website, CRM, and even product usage." The tasks it lists at the top of the homepage are audience building, campaign drafting, journey mapping, CMO reporting, account scoring and segment finding.

Where you work with the agents. Inflection says its AI "comes to you": through Slack, Claude or ChatGPT apps, Inflection's in-product chat, "or through a full MCP server if you live in VS Code." The company lists a "Full AI suite of agents, MCP server, Claude & ChatGPT integrations." For a developer, the FAQ adds that Inflection's API has "much higher rate limits making it more agent friendly," and the footer links to Product Docs, API Docs and Agents & MCP Docs.

Scoring and reporting. Account scoring and CMO reporting appear among the agent tasks, which fits the target buyer, a B2B marketing team that reports pipeline and revenue to its leadership.

Pricing model

Inflection prices by Monthly Marketed Contacts (MMCs), so "you scale based on contacts who actually run through Inflection Journeys in a month." The company's own summary of its terms is "Only pay for contacts that run through journeys" and "Transparent pricing and no activity limits, API & sync limits, etc." That means a large CRM database of dormant contacts does not by itself drive the bill; what counts is how many contacts are actually marketed to in a month. The site links a Pricing page, but its homepage and comparison page print no figures, and the main call to action is "Book a Demo."

Service and migration

Inflection describes a "forward deployed operator model". The FAQ says "Our CSMs are former marketing operations professionals themselves" and, working with MCP servers and AI agents, they handle migrations from Marketo "much more quickly than most realize." The company also promises "Direct access to founders, product, and success leaders," a product built on customer feedback, and a "Dedicated 'forward deployed' team to help with AI transformation." The resources section lists a blog, a community and Demand & Expand.

Customers and results

The site's customer stories are Clay, Sendoso, Sauce Labs, Mural and BILL. The homepage gives three results. Public B2B companies report "$100K+ savings and cut 1,000+ manual hours." AI innovators report a "28% increase in product logins through Inflection emails." And PLG marketers who activate product data in Inflection report a "126% increase in user reactivation." The last two show the intended use: email that moves people inside a software product, not only leads toward a sale.

On reviews, the site says Inflection "is the higher rated B2B marketing automation solution across all 7 main dimensions" and shows a G2 rating of 4.9 / 5, with scores of 9.0 for meeting requirements, 9.4 for ease of use, 9.3 for quality of setup, 9.2 for ease of admin, 9.6 for quality of support, 9.7 for being a good partner in doing business, and 10.0 for product direction, citing G2 in July 2026. The FAQ adds that customers "often cite faster execution, a more modern experience, and better fit with how B2B marketing runs today", including AI-native workflows and warehouse-connected audiences.

Who it suits

Inflection fits a B2B SaaS or technology company with a data warehouse, product usage data and a CRM it wants to put to work in email: a product-led company running activation and reactivation journeys, or a company running demand generation and customer expansion from one platform. A marketing operations team that already works with AI tools, APIs or an MCP server will get the most from the agent side, and a team leaving an older MAP gets migration help from former marketing operations staff.

It is not built for a newsletter sender or a small shop. The platform is sold by demo to B2B teams, its value depends on connected warehouse and product data, and consumer email programs are outside the market it describes.
