Birdeye is a customer experience and marketing platform for multi-location brands, and email marketing automation is one of the jobs its AI agents do. The homepage headline is "AI Coworkers for Multi-location Brands," promising to "Win AI visibility, book appointments, and drive consistent CX at every location." Email sits inside that wider offer, next to reviews, business listings, social media, messaging, appointments and surveys, and the company's blog on the subject calls Birdeye "the agentic platform built for email marketing automation at scale."
How the platform is organized
The homepage presents three AI "coworkers." Jay, the marketing coworker, covers AI search, reviews, listings, social, marketing automation, a chatbot and pages. Myna, the operations coworker, handles the front desk, appointments, reminders, a waitlist and insurance verification, and works across voice, email and text. Robin, the customer experience coworker, runs surveys, insights, competitor tracking, ticketing and reporting. Underneath is BirdAI, described as "The Agent OS," which uses multi-agent orchestration so the coworkers can hand jobs to specialized agents. The product menu lists those agents as Reviews AI, Listings AI, Social AI, Search AI, Insights AI and Competitors AI. Reviews AI agents "generate, monitor, manage, and share reviews on 200+ sites," Listings AI keeps business listings optimized for visibility, and Search AI aims to make brands "the answer on Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and more."
The homepage describes the loop in three steps: consolidate "One unified view of every customer, location, and interaction," reason with agents that "analyze every signal across channels to understand context and decide the next best action," and act with agents that "execute personalized outreach, updates, and responses automatically, without manual work." The platform menu says agents can run fully autonomous or supervised, with models tuned to the customer's industry and brand.
Email marketing through Messaging AI
The email marketing article describes Messaging AI as the agent that "manages conversations across channels, understands context, and executes automated email campaigns based on real behavior." Its FAQ says agents "segment audiences, draft emails, and trigger automated email campaigns based on customer actions, so you skip manual setup," and lists the campaign types: "Post-visit follow-ups, review requests, winback emails, transactional emails, and personalized offers." The article's own example has an agent spot falling engagement in a segment, draft a winback email, test it at a few locations and roll it out if it works.
The argument behind this is that static workflows break down across many locations. The article pictures a dental group with thirty offices, each sending its own follow-up emails: one thanks customers, one forgets, one sends outdated information. Birdeye's answer is central automation that standardizes what matters while leaving room for local nuance.
Templates and design
The Template Design Agent builds the emails. The article says it generates "on-brand templates, newsletters, and automated email sequences instantly," and a car sales blog post lists what it does: it "Generates branded email templates from a simple prompt," applies logos, colors and formatting automatically, lets teams edit layouts without coding, and keeps templates consistent across locations and campaigns. The same post says teams can use it to create outreach templates for each stage of the buyer journey, from first contact to follow-up.
Email triggered by reviews, search and competitors
Because Birdeye started from reviews and reputation, its email automation draws on those signals. The article says the Reviews product "monitors reviews from 200+ sites Birdeye supports and triggers emails automatically." Search AI tracks what customers ask search engines and AI assistants so messaging themes can shift, and Competitors AI watches local rivals for changes in offers, pricing and sentiment so that automated campaigns adjust. Insights AI listens to conversations, reviews and messaging data across locations and picks out themes and sentiment shifts; in the article's example it detects rising negative sentiment about a service category, and Reporting Agents "surface the top 3 affected locations and trigger a remedial email and a service recovery workflow." Social AI aligns social posts with the email strategy and creates, schedules and monitors posts across locations.
Integrations
The article says Birdeye "connects with 3,000+ systems to sync contacts, automate email triggers, and centralize all customer interactions," and the platform menu repeats "Integrate with over 3,000+ apps." For healthcare the homepage says Birdeye connects to "your PMS, EHR, and the sites patients trust." The product menu also lists a Birdeye MCP server, a Google Partnership that the site calls "The most complete Google solution for local business," and a For Developers page. A mobile app is available.
Who uses it
The industry menu covers healthcare, automotive, real estate, dental, property management, restaurants, home services, financial services, legal, retail, wellness, self storage and franchises. The homepage shows client logos including Smile Brands, Orkin, The RealReal, JLL, Weill Cornell Medicine, Extra Space Storage, Six Flags, Cracker Barrel, Jiffy Lube, NVA, Sono Bello, Black Bear Diner, David's Bridal and Caesars Entertainment. Ken Norquist of Axia Women's Health is quoted saying Birdeye "has given me the perspective and agility I need to effectively manage our expansive footprint easily," and Valley Veterinary Care reports a "400% Increase in social publishing." A downloadable guide on the blog is written for brands with 100+ to 10,000+ locations.
Pricing, security and support
The homepage offers "See Enterprise Pricing" and a demo rather than a public price table, and the blog menu offers a free trial of the Social product. Sales can be reached by phone. On trust, the homepage says "Birdeye is designed with the highest commitment to trust, security, and compliance," links to a Trust and Security page, and carries footer pages for Security, GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA and an AI Policy. The homepage also says Birdeye is ranked #1 on G2 in the enterprise category, and the blog calls it "the #1 agentic marketing platform for multi-location businesses"; both are the company's own claims.
Who it suits
Birdeye suits brands with many locations, such as dental and medical groups, dealerships, restaurant chains, property managers and franchises, that want post-visit follow-ups, review requests, winback and transactional email run centrally by AI agents and tied to reviews, listings and social in one system. It is built for teams willing to let supervised or autonomous agents draft and trigger campaigns. A single business that wants a hands-on newsletter editor with a published monthly price will find the enterprise sales process and the reputation-first product more than it needs.
