ActiveDEMAND
Tap a star to rate
ActiveDEMAND is a marketing automation platform that sends email sequences and campaigns alongside call tracking, SMS, web chat and appointment booking, and it is built above all for senior living operators. The homepage calls it "the only customer acquisition and engagement platform specifically built for senior living," and a second line of business serves marketing agencies that run many client accounts from one portal. The company behind it is JumpDEMAND, which the About page places in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
What the platform is for
The pitch is occupancy. A senior living community wins a move-in only after a long exchange with a prospect and, very often, with the adult children and caregivers who help decide, so the platform is designed to record every touch from all of those people against one journey. The homepage says it "tracks every interaction, including caregivers and family members," across the website, calls, forms, emails and campaigns. The company calls this Collective Buyers' Journey Attribution, and the features page describes it as tracking of "multi-touch, multi-contact customer journeys."
The second idea is what the company calls Community First Marketing. An operator with one community or a hundred can run templated campaigns that are still personalized per location, and the Multi-Community Infrastructure product gives head office a view across all of them. The About page says the platform is used in more than 4000 senior living communities in North America with more than 7,500 users.
Email, automation and forms
Email sits inside a wider marketing automation toolset rather than being a standalone newsletter tool. The Community Marketer plan lists an email marketing sequence, marketing campaigns, a customer automation workflow and marketing funnel analytics. The features page says campaigns can be managed, tracked and optimized from one place, and that funnel workflows show prospects' progress "through their multi-channel journey," with bottlenecks and real-time metrics per campaign prospect.
Content is handled by a Content Engagement System that centralizes tracking, distribution and performance reporting for the content a community sends out. Targeted forms and landing pages come from a builder the features page describes as a "Powerful and user-friendly solution for creating and deploying professional landing pages and forms." Appointment scheduling covers tours: the features page promises "Simple, flexible and hassle-free appointment or tour scheduling," and the integrations page says the scheduler adds events to Google Calendar or Office 365 and connects to Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
For the sales side there is Community Engage, which gives sales counselors personal videos, branded content and ready-to-send email, SMS and voicemail templates in one place. The senior living pricing page lists call disposition and completion automation, voicemail drop, a personal video and file library and an AI Sales Trainer, which the features page describes as an objective-based training curriculum that connects to the operator's CRM.
Other channels and tracking
Call tracking is a core feature: the features page says it shows "what is making the phone ring" and turns calls into data, and the pricing page bundles it with SMS. A website virtual chat assistant turns forms and surveys into conversations, a conversations inbox gathers them, and Prospect Connect shows real-time website visitors so staff can reach out from the browser. On the social side, the integrations page says users can schedule posts to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest and X from one interface, with links shortened into trackable links. A data appending service enriches the contact database.
AI
The AI layer is called ADI, ActiveDEMAND Intelligence. The homepage describes "Private, secure agentic AI agents that can engage clients, answer phones, generate content, create marketing assets and deploy marketing campaigns," and says that with the user's approval ADI will update brands, build emails and create campaigns. It also offers round-the-clock virtual chat and live assistants that learn the community. The company says these agents are hosted in the community's own account so client data stays private.
Integrations
The integrations page is the longest on the site. For senior living CRMs it names Aline CRM (formerly Enquire and Sherpa), ALIS, Eldermark, WelcomeHome, Yardi and LivingMetrics, and it says ActiveDEMAND is a qualified Standard Interface (SIPP) vendor for Yardi. The pricing page notes that operators usually buy ActiveDEMAND through their senior living CRM, and that the price may vary by the CRM reseller partner. B2B CRMs on the list are Dynamics 365, Freshsales, Nimble, noCRM.io, Pipedrive, Pipeline CRM, Salesforce and Zoho; for Salesforce the page describes a lead scoring module that passes qualified leads to the sales team.
Other connections include Google Ads and Facebook Ads for reporting and conversion tracking, Roobrik, SalesMail, A Place for Mom and Senior Care Finder as senior care lead sources, a Chrome and Gmail extension and an Outlook plugin that track emails, Slack, GoToWebinar, Zapier, Make, Integrately and LeadsBridge. For online stores there are a Shopify app and a PrestaShop module that import purchases so drip and personalized email campaigns can target buyers, plus free plugins for WordPress, WooCommerce and Magento that embed forms, popups and tracking phone numbers and save abandoned carts. Stripe handles payments. Developers can request access to the ActiveDEMAND API.
Plans and prices
Senior living operators see two packages, each priced per community per month. Community Engage, the web chat and sales engagement bundle, is $250 per community per month. Community Marketer is $300 per community per month with unlimited users and 1500 contact capacity per community, and adds the email sequence, appointment scheduling, forms and landing pages, content engagement, automation workflows, campaigns and funnel analytics to everything in Community Engage.
Agencies price differently. On the Starter Agency model, client accounts are bought à la carte with no membership fees: a Reporter account is $20 per client per month, a Small Business Marketer account starts at $109 and a Corporate Marketer account starts at $399. The first two include 1000 contacts, Corporate Marketer includes 10000, and extra capacity is "call for pricing" on the smaller packages and $10 per 1000 on Corporate Marketer. Once spending reaches the Expert Agency threshold, the agency pays for total contact capacity across all accounts, gets an Advanced Portal from $799 a month, and every client account moves to Small Business Marketer, with an upgrade to Corporate Marketer at $100 per client. The table notes that prices assume an annual contract and that month-to-month options exist. Agency portals carry "Start Trial Today" buttons, with no trial length given.
Company, compliance and support
The About page says ActiveDEMAND launched in 2012 after starting life as a digital marketing agency that wanted tools for multi-client marketers, and names Sean Leonard as CEO and co-founder. On compliance, the features FAQ answers "Yes, ActiveDEMAND is HIPAA compliant." Support comes from a team the site describes as senior living experts, backed by a support portal, live chat, bookable support sessions, the ActiveDEMAND Academy for training and a template marketplace. A certified partner program trains agencies to become certified ActiveDEMAND experts.
Who it suits
ActiveDEMAND fits senior living operators, from a single community to a large group, that want email sequences, tour booking, call tracking and chat tied to their existing senior living CRM, and the agencies that market those communities. General marketing agencies can also use the multi-client portal and per-client pricing. A shop or creator looking for a plain newsletter tool will find the platform built around a sales process it does not have.
