Hypermail is a bulk email platform built for cold outreach, including campaigns to purchased, third-party opt-in lists. Its homepage calls it "The email marketing platform built for cold outreach for purchased lists" and promises bulk campaigns "with automatic cleaning, deliverability tools, and real-time analytics." The site says Hypermail has served email marketers "since 2003," and lists Billion+ emails delivered, 5,000+ email marketer clients and 20+ years in business. Hypermail is a registered trademark of Email Marketing Services, Inc. Its users range, in the site's words, "From solo prospectors to agencies managing millions of sends," and agencies can also run the whole platform under their own brand through a white-label program.

Built for purchased lists

Hypermail's core pitch is that it accepts the sending other providers refuse. The homepage says it supports "third-party opt-in lists that other ESPs reject" and puts it bluntly: "We don't ban you for prospecting." The platform is aimed at four groups: cold email senders prospecting with purchased lists, marketing agencies managing multiple brands, high-volume senders scaling to millions of sends, and lead generation teams that build prospect lists and nurture them through the funnel.

The company frames this as a specialism, opening its pitch with "Unlike traditional ESPs, we specialize in cold email and purchased list campaigns." Pricing follows the send, not the list. The homepage promises "Unlimited Contacts - No per-subscriber pricing. Pay for sends, not list size." Plan prices sit on a separate pricing page that the homepage links to, and a demo can be requested from any page.

How a campaign works

The homepage lays the workflow out in four steps. First, the sender uploads a list as a CSV, TXT or ZIP file, and Hypermail cleans and de-duplicates it automatically; the cleaning removes spam traps, hard bounces, complainers and duplicates on upload. Second, the email is designed in a standard editor or a drag and drop editor, from 100+ templates, or by pasting HTML. The editor also offers SpinText and AI, plus free image hosting. Third, the campaign is sent at once or scheduled, and Hypermail handles IP rotation automatically. Fourth, opens, clicks, bounces and conversions are tracked in real time.

List management goes further than upload and send. Lists can be segmented by opens, clicks or bounces, merged, organized in folders and queried by any field. The analytics track opens, clicks, replies, unsubscribes, feedback loop (FBL) complaints, bounces and conversions, and results can be exported or viewed as visual reports. A separate email verification service appears in the main menu.

SmartRelay and deliverability

SmartRelay is Hypermail's answer to the risk of mailing purchased lists. The homepage describes it as a way to "Connect multiple SMTPs and IPs. Rotate traffic for better deliverability and inbox placement," and high-volume senders are told they can scale "with SMTP rotation and load balancing."

The site ties SmartRelay to a cold-to-warm model it calls "Cold Outreach + Nurture, All in One." Cold campaigns go out through dedicated SMTPs and IPs reserved for purchased or prospecting lists. Opens, clicks and replies then identify interested leads, and those engaged leads can be moved to premium SMTPs on trusted IPs, with InboxRoad, Mailgun, Postmark, SendGrid and SMTP2GO named as the relays it works with. The point, in the site's words, is to "Keep cold traffic separate from premium IPs in one platform."

Standard authentication and monitoring are part of the package. The homepage lists SPF, DKIM and DMARC setup, TLS support, IP monitoring and reputation tracking, and global suppression. The white-label page adds rDNS and BIMI to that list. On compliance, the homepage states "CAN-SPAM & GDPR Compliant - Automatic unsubscribe links and data management."

API, SMTP and integrations

Developers get a RESTful API, real-time webhooks and SMTP access, and the footer links to API documentation, a webhooks page and an MCP server. For no-code connections, the homepage lists Zapier "with 2,000+ apps." A knowledge base and blog round out the resources, and the site menu also points to targeted email lists and an affiliate program, which fits the data resale tools mentioned on the reseller page.

White-label reseller program

The second half of Hypermail's business is a reseller program. The white-label page invites agencies to "Launch your own email marketing SaaS business powered by Hypermail's secure, scalable, 20+ years proven platform. Your brand, your prices, your recurring revenue." Resellers get their own domain, logos and signup pages, a platform that scales "From thousands to hundreds of millions of emails/month," and client management that lets them view customer accounts and switch between clients with one click.

Hypermail handles support for the reseller's clients by ticket, and each reseller has a dedicated account manager. The platform features listed for resellers include the advanced deliverability stack, a built-in CRM to "Manage prospects, signups, and retainers in one dashboard," AI-powered tools for "Content, subject lines, personalization, and translations," SMS and MMS support described as "Political campaign messaging with 10DLC," and data tools covering email verification and data resale. Hypermail hosts, secures and updates the platform, and the page promises resellers they will "Never worry about compliance, servers, or technical support," with continuous platform improvements and new integrations over time. Resellers can refer clients or onboard them directly, set their own pricing and plans, and receive training and marketing materials. The demo form also lists self-managed software, managed email marketing campaigns and partnerships as options, so the company sells managed services as well as the platform.

Support

The homepage promises "24/7 Expert Support - Real email marketing experts, not chatbots," and a toll-free sales line is shown at the top of every page. A customer quote from David H. of Great Lakes Toll says the platform lets them "send to our purchased lists without getting shut down," adding that "The list cleaning alone has saved us thousands in bounces."

Who it suits

Hypermail suits senders whose outreach depends on lists they did not build themselves: B2B prospectors, lead generation firms and high-volume senders who have been shut down elsewhere for cold email. Its SmartRelay model fits teams that want to separate cold traffic from the reputation of their main sending IPs and move engaged leads onto premium relays. Agencies, IT firms and consultants looking for a recurring revenue product can resell it under their own brand, and political campaigns can use the SMS option on the reseller platform. A small business mailing only its own opted-in customers will find most of the platform's purchased-list tooling beyond what it needs.
