Hotsol is a bulk email sending platform built for cold outreach and high-volume campaigns, including campaigns to purchased lists. Its homepage headline is "Bulk Email Infrastructure, Built for Cold Outreach," followed by the promise to "Send high volume campaigns to qualified contacts and purchased emails lists." The company, HOTSOL Inc., sells both a self-serve platform and managed services, and it serves businesses, agencies and institutions: its use-case pages name small businesses, IT services firms, affiliate marketers, financial advisors, online gambling operators, political campaigns and universities. The homepage says it has 5000+ global customers and has delivered 10B+ emails.

What a sender gets

Hotsol's own description of the workflow runs in five steps. First, the sender uploads a CSV; Hotsol maps names, companies and custom fields automatically and removes duplicates and addresses with bad syntax. Second, every address is verified, and invalid, risky and duplicate contacts are flagged and removed "before they can hurt your sender reputation." Third, the sender creates a campaign: a sequence with personalization and follow-ups "that stop automatically when someone replies." Fourth, the campaign goes out "across warmed dedicated IPs and domains, throttled per provider to stay in the inbox." Fifth, deliveries, replies, bounces and unsubscribes update live in the dashboard, broken down per campaign and per domain.

Around that workflow sit the usual list and campaign tools. Lists are imported to the cloud and managed with list management tools, and they can be segmented so each audience gets relevant content. The higher education page says universities can segment lists and target those segments on specific criteria. Senders can test variations of their campaign content to learn what works, set up multiple autoresponders, and send automatic responses when a subscriber takes a specific action.

Emails are built in a drag and drop editor, or senders can add their own content or upload pre-designed HTML templates. The higher education page adds that customers can "engage our design team to build your custom creative and keep your branding consistent." The political campaign page lists mobile-optimized templates among the features.

Deliverability infrastructure

Deliverability is the center of Hotsol's pitch. The homepage names four pillars: campaigns built around CAN-SPAM and GDPR, a "Pre-Warmed Server Network" for consistent sending performance, "IP Reputation Management" to reduce blacklisting risk and stabilize performance, and 24/7 support. Sending runs on warmed dedicated IPs and domains, with throttling tuned per inbox provider, and SPF, DKIM and DMARC are listed on every plan. The political campaign page adds a dedicated deliverability team that works to get emails into inboxes rather than spam folders. Every plan also includes SMTP and API access, so a sender can push mail from its own application or tools as well as from the web interface. The service menu extends to dedicated email servers and SMTP email servers for larger customers.

Use cases

The homepage groups its uses into cold email outreach, targeted email blasts, email surveys, promotional email marketing, email newsletters and emailing purchased lists. Two use cases have their own detailed pages.

For political campaigns, Hotsol describes voter database management that organizes contacts by precinct, voting history and engagement level, compliance tools covering campaign finance regulations and email laws, advanced segmentation to target swing voters, reliable supporters and potential donors separately, and a real-time analytics dashboard. The page recommends building lists by criteria such as name, gender, age, occupation, income and voting party, and it outlines campaign strategies from welcome series and issue-based advocacy to peer-to-peer storytelling with testimonials from voters and volunteers, countdown sequences before Election Day and urgent action alerts. It also advises personalizing the sender name and avoiding a no-reply address.

For universities, the higher education page describes purchased list campaigns for market research, college recruitment, educational emails and donor campaigns, and says Hotsol builds custom architectures sized to each campaign. It states that customers can "Send unlimited campaigns to unlimited subscribers with our cloud and dedicated email server plans."

Plans and pricing

Hotsol prices by monthly send volume, and all four published plans are billed monthly with no setup fees. The main pricing table, which appears on the homepage and the political campaign page, reads:

  • Starter, $199.99: 250K emails monthly, unlimited contacts, 2 custom domains, 2 mailboxes, SMTP/API, 24/7 email and chat support, SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
  • Pro, $299.99 (marked most popular): 500K emails monthly, unlimited contacts, 4 custom domains, 4 mailboxes, with the same support and authentication.
  • Premier, $449.99: 1MM emails monthly, unlimited contacts, 6 custom domains, 6 mailboxes, same support and authentication.
  • Elite, $899.99: 2.5MM emails monthly, unlimited contacts, 8 custom domains, 8 mailboxes, and phone and priority support in place of email and chat.

A second table lower on the homepage gives the same four prices and send volumes with different allowances: Starter with 1 domain included, 2 dedicated IPs and 100k contacts; Pro with 1 domain, 3 dedicated IPs and 250k contacts; Premier with 2 domains, 4 dedicated IPs and 500k contacts; and Elite with 2 domains, 16 dedicated IPs and 1 Million contacts. The two tables disagree on contacts and domains, so a buyer should confirm which allowances apply before ordering. A "View More Plans" link points to further options, and the homepage invites visitors to try the Pro plan or request a demo.

Support and policies

Support is available 24/7 by email and chat on the first three plans, with phone and priority support on Elite. The support menu includes ticket submission, a knowledgebase, FAQs and marketing tips, and the site has a sales phone line and an affiliate program. The footer links to a refund policy, privacy policy, terms and conditions, an anti-spam policy and a GDPR page. Customer testimonials on the homepage praise its reliability and support, including one from a user who says they have relied on it "for many years."

Who it suits

Hotsol suits senders whose model depends on reaching people who have not yet subscribed: B2B teams running cold outreach, agencies and lead generation firms, affiliate marketers, political campaigns in election season, and universities running recruitment or research campaigns. Its volume-based plans, warmed dedicated IPs and SMTP access make sense for teams sending hundreds of thousands of emails a month. A small business sending a monthly newsletter to its own customers would be paying for infrastructure it does not need, and teams that want a lightweight self-serve tool should note that the entry plan starts at $199.99 a month.
